Site visits / individual interviews

Judging for the ASEAs follows two distinct approaches:

  • Organisations, teams and projects are evaluated with an on-site visit
  • Nominees for individual awards are evaluated with a structured interview.

All site visits and telephone interviews are conducted by independent market researchers, with guest judges – fellows of the Customer Service Institute of Australia and invited customer service experts who work in non-competitive industries.

Fee Schedule

As part of the recent review of the ASEA program, we’ve restructured fees so that entrants pay just one flat fee for each of their nominations (site visit fees no longer apply). These fees are as follows:

Members of CSIA

Individual-level* nomination - $195 + GST
Organisation-level nomination - $495 + GST

Non-members

Individual-level nomination - $295 + GST
Organisation-level nomination - $695 + GST



* It's important to note that individual CSIA member discounts only apply to the nominee, not the nominator. Further, individual CSIA members' do not receive discounts for organisation-level (corporate) nominations.
